The Deutsche Cricket Union announces Indoor Championship 2016 with cash prizes

 

The new national body for cricket in Germany, the Deutsche Cricket Union (DCU), continues its drive to freshen up the sport in the country by organizing a country- wide indoor championship in 2016. Funding will be available for holding the regional rounds of the competition which will also feature cash prizes for the winners and
runners up as well as kit vouchers for the 3rd and 4th placed teams. The winners and runners up will receive 1.000Eur and 500Eur respectively, with cash prizes of 250EUR and 150EUR in the regional rounds.

The cash prizes and medals will be presented by international cricketing stars There will also be a youth competition for U13, U15, U17 and U19 teams wherein the winners and runners up will receive kit and equipment vouchers to help them with their progress.
