Welcome to the NRWCU (North-Rhine Westfalia Cricket Union) which is a pioneering cricket league in the nation of Germany. A country where sport is held in high esteem, cricket is still climbing its way up the ladder and the efforts of the NRWCU haven’t gone unnoticed. The popularity of the sport has remained stagnant until the very recent influx of South East Asian immigrants and students who brought their love of the game over to Germany with them. It was thus the NRWCU was formed.

One of NRWCU’s key goals is to introduce cricket as a sport to youth as early as possible in order to allow our youth to live up to their full potential. We are the main player in terms of promoting cricketing opportunities in NRW and Germany as a whole. Thus far we have been engaged in bringing cricket coaching courses to state primary, secondary and special needs schools in NRW as well as conducting intensive courses during school holidays and cricketing events in public parks, cricket grounds and indoor courts.
